Spokane Realtor, Mick Templeton, was born in Missoula, MT but came to Spokane, WA while very young. He is a graduate of Central Valley High School and then moved to California to attend college. After college Mick gained very valuable corporate Management experience from working with one of the largest restaurant chains in the U.S. He was appointed as a general manager, became a training manager, and then was selected for Area Manager overseeing several operating units. His experience in a fortune 100 restaurant chain in management led him to some amazing business opportunities throughout his life. Things like building, owning, and operating a thriving coffee business in Arlington Texas, winning “Best Coffee in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex” title in 1995. He owned and operated a very popular coffee Mansion in Arlington Texas and built and operated multiple espresso coffee cart locations on colleges in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Mick eventually made his way back to Washington with his two daughters in tow. As a single parent he sought to raise his girls in Spokane near family, and in the city, he grew up in. Mick began flipping houses for about 7 years. After loving his real estate experiences, he decided to open his own Real Estate Escrow Closing Company. After successfully operating that company for about 12 years he drew the attention of the largest title and escrow company in the US. They made an offer he couldn’t refuse, so he sold his company. He stayed and worked with this company for almost three years as their Branch Manager in order to help make the merger a smooth transition and expand the Company’s market share and presence in Spokane. He met his lovely wife, Jennifer, during this process so more than one merger came together for him! Mick then decided to become a Real Estate Broker and get back into the field of real estate, an area he knows so well and that matches his interest, training and expertise. Because his wife also works in the Real Estate industry, he is able to work with his wife as a team to combine their talent and energy in doing what they love.
Above all else, Mick’s proudest accomplishment was being a fulltime single parent, raising his two wonderful daughters that have both gone on to accomplish amazing careers. One following in her father’s footsteps working in the real estate industry as an Escrow Assistant in Texas, and the other a film editor who received an Emmy at 26 years old and now lives with her husband in Connecticut. Mick enjoys doing charity work with his wife and reaches into the homeless community with hands on projects and outreaches. Mick has also been a published author and plans to continue writing.
